Common problems with old skylights

The old skylight on the left had failing seals which let mold grow at the inside edge of the window. The metal flashing connecting it to the roof had also failed, rotting out the roof deck underneath. We replaced it with this beautiful and energy efficient new skylight when we replaced the roof.
